Slo Labs

Your information, handled carefully.

This policy explains what Slo Labs collects when you visit our website, book a call, join our newsletter or send us an enquiry, and what we do with it.

Last updated 17 July 2026

The short version

We collect the information needed to reply, arrange calls, send the newsletter and understand whether the site is working. We do not sell personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the studio, or where the law requires it.

What we collect

We may collect:

  • your name, email address, company and anything you include in an enquiry;
  • booking details you provide through Cal.com;
  • your email address and subscription preferences if you join the newsletter;
  • records of our correspondence with you; and
  • technical and usage information, such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, clicks and errors.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically when you use the site, and through the service providers described below. Analytics tools may use cookies or similar browser storage to recognise a browser and understand visits over time.

Please do not send sensitive information through the website unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • reply to enquiries and arrange intro calls;
  • assess whether Slo Labs is a good fit for your business;
  • send the newsletter and manage subscriptions;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
  • measure site performance and the effectiveness of our content; and
  • meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

If you become a client, our agreement may include additional confidentiality and data-handling terms for your project.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of providers to run the site and studio:

  • PostHog for website analytics and error tracking;
  • Cal.com for scheduling;
  • Resend for contact emails and automatic replies;
  • Slack for internal enquiry notifications;
  • beehiiv for the newsletter; and
  • Cloudflare for website hosting, delivery and security.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. Some may process or store information outside Australia, particularly in the United States, and in other countries where they or their subprocessors operate.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, a buyer or successor if the studio changes ownership, or an authority where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Storage, security and retention

Information is held in the cloud services we use and, where needed, in Slo Labs business records. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and reputable service providers. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Cookies and your choices

You can limit cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect parts of the site and will not necessarily stop every form of measurement.

Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop direct communications at any time by emailing us.

Links to other websites and embedded services, including Cal.com, are governed by those providers' privacy practices once you interact with them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, or request deletion where appropriate. Email hello@slolabs.studio with enough detail for us to identify the relevant information. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you have a privacy concern, email us and explain what happened. We will acknowledge it and work to respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices or providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.

Slo Labs is based in Sydney, Australia. For questions, access requests, corrections or complaints, contact hello@slolabs.studio.

We handle personal information in line with this policy and, where applicable, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
